.About Evette
From a young age, Evette understood what it meant to face challenges that change the course of life. Those experiences shaped not only her compassion, but also her determination to help others navigate their own paths toward healing.
Today, she is an author, philanthropist, humanitarian, key-note speaker, trauma-informed life coach, and fitness professional—roles she fulfills with both skill and heart. With over two decades of experience and certifications in multiple modalities, she has developed a unique expertise in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and other evidence-based practices that empower people to rebuild their lives.
Her work extends far beyond coaching. As a devoted mother and passionate mental health advocate, Evette serves her community through NAMI Broward as both a Guardian Advocate and Family Mentor. She leads workshops for healthcare professionals and caregivers worldwide, blending her personal journey with proven strategies to address the daily struggles, breakthroughs, and complexities of supporting those living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and other personality disorders/mental health conditions.
Evette’s knowledge spans DID, personality disorders, mood disorders, borderline personality disorder, C-PTSD, anxiety, and schizophrenia. But it is her lived experience that sets her apart: while research shows recovery from DID is not possible often takes a decade or more for stability, her hands-on approach helped one individual reach full recovery—no longer meeting the diagnostic criteria.
That success fuels her mission: to educate, empower, and inspire others so we can transform the way mental health is understood and treated. Whether she is consulting, coaching, or speaking to audiences, Evette’s message is clear—healing is possible, hope is real, and no one should have to walk their journey alone.
